Team Description ITS delivers business technology strategy and solutions to our Dropbox business partners so they can work confidently, move fast, and scale effortlessly. Role Description The Head of Sales and Marketing Technologies with ITS organization is a high impact, strategic and key leadership role. As an IT leader, you have an audacious vision of where IT and Go To Market organization needs to be, what are the strategies that will serve the vision, and set of time-bound tactics to support the strategy. You are comfortable dealing with senior executives across IT, Sales, Marketing and Products to develop joint strategies and ensure IT's value is understood, enhanced and positioned as a strategic partner. You are also future focussed which involves adapting and innovating in response to internal and external forces such as an M & A, a new business requirement, or the proliferation of new technologies. Broadly you will be responsible for three key areas of the business - Business Partnership, Application Delivery and Team Leadership. As a partner to our Sales and Marketing teams - you will work to understand their strategy, business needs and problems, and convert them into a prioritized actionable roadmap. Applying rigor and transparency, you will build and share operational metrics, as well as progress made on prioritized initiatives. You will have the ability to take conceptual conversations to next level and provide a solution approach, high level sizing, and potential challenges. Your experience should serve as an input into business specific conversation which may not be directly IT related either. Your job is not only to partner, but take the partnership more upstream with our stakeholders Application Delivery and Support: We get stuff gone. This involves planning and executional skills ranging from program management, to quality assurance testing and offshore delivery. This competency includes the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the ITS org to deliver and run its primary functions.You will identify and optimize new operating models within teams that will help deliver quality products with high velocity, optimal cost and no friction, including applying scale and capabilities with strategic external delivery partners. Ultimately your team needs to develop solutions that our users will love, will move the needle from a business goal perspective, and do it in a most optimal fashion around cost and technical debt Team Leadership: As the IT Lead for Sales and Marketing Applications, you will lead talented and high performing leaders as direct reports who have internal and external developers, administrators and analysts within the Sales and Marketing domains (Salesforce, Adobe AEM, Marketo etc). You will provide them with career mentoring including training and career development plans. You will also ensure that you remove distractions for them so that they can focus on delivery and be their most productive and engaged! You also have an eye on the future and will ensure the organization, resourcing and operating model align with the future state Responsibilities - Own the end to end relationship with our Sales and Marketing organizations including strategic roadmap, priorities, end to end application delivery, production support and ongoing maintenance of sales and marketing technologies - Develop and maintain methodologies and standards for application delivery and platform support - Lead and mentor a high performing team of technical leaders - Develop solution map for critical projects and review major deliverables for quality and standards alignment - Own the stability, security, modernization and operations of the technology platforms supporting the Sales / Marketing organizations especially , Adobe AEM and Marketo. Requirements - 10+ years of experience working in a senior strategic roles within IT organizations of high growth companies, including very deep focus on GTM technologies supporting Sales and Marketing areas. - 10+ years of experience in developing CRM solutions & applications supporting Sales /Marketing areas.
