About The JobWe are looking for the right person to help the firm, Partners and staff perform at a high level while building trust in the marketplace. You help demonstrate the integrity and genuine attitude of the Firm by being the first face a client sees when they walk in the door and the first voice they hear when they call the main line.Among the essentials of the position, we are looking for someone who provides courteous phone and client reception as well as professional administrative support. Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Duties and ResponsibilitiesCourteous multi-line telephone receptionProcessing and distribution of mail as well as electronic faxesDocument scanning to electronic databaseAssembling a high volume of tax returnsGreeting guests and clients with a welcoming smile and offering refreshments while escorting them to their destinationAssisting the Administrative team with various projects as requested (i.e. scanning work papers, updating paperwork, ordering and coordinating in-office lunches, confirming appointments, running errands as needed, helping with meeting preparation)Assisting Partners and staff with additional projects (updating excel spreadsheets, client document requests)Ordering and maintaining office/kitchen supplies and stock as needed SSF strives to hire from our local talent pool as one of the many ways we demonstrate our commitment towards supporting our local communities.
