Job Description:

We need someone to keep our office in the Mission running smoothly.In this role, youll wear multiple hats, managing reception, the phones, and handling most of the office administration. Your job will include office logistics, employee care, and ultimately being responsible for ensuring that both employees and visitors have a great office experience.Youll have the autonomy to creatively make positive changes, so we need someone who has great ideas on improving office life, and isnt afraid to share them. This position is in our San Francisco office, but you may find yourself helping out with other office locations (Seattle, Richmond, Roseville, Nashville, etc). Who were looking for:

  • An organized person - to keep the workspace organized and happy while juggling various requests and of course personalities
  • Being detail oriented is critical- we have so many moving pieces!
  • Roll up the sleeves attitude - youll be unpacking, opening, distributing mail, setting up, breaking down, and all kinds of things inbetween
  • Out of the box thinker - our culture welcomes bold ideas and a natural propensity to make it happen
  • Willingness to learn new things and adapt to pivoting organizational needs
  • Acting with integrity
  • Positive attitude and good sense of humor What you will do:
  • Manage all things office: reception, supplies, furniture/desk setup and maintenance, music, conference rooms, and repairs
  • Keep office stocked with food, drink, supplies, including coordinating lunch deliveries
  • Order equipment as needed, including organizing furniture delivery and installation
  • Interact with landlord to take care of any facilities issues
  • Manage the mail - receive, sort, distribute, scan, etc
  • Event planning - the occasional happy hour or celebration is likely a constant
  • Create a positive guest and employee experience
  • Interact / Coordinate with other offices
  • Assist in recruiting and HR functions including I9/E-Verify and scheduling interviews.
  • Ensure new employees desks are set up and their first day is memorable! Desired Experience:
  • 3+ years in a professional office management or similar role
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Comfortable using web-based applications such as Google Mail/Calendar/Docs, Cloud storage products, HRIS, Payroll platform(s)
