Skin and Cosmetic Dermatology is looking for an Practice
Administrator/Office Manager to lead our Dermatology Office in San
Francisco. Occasionally, office manager would be require to visit
the Corte Madera office when new staff or protocols are
implemented. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can manage
collections, business office administration, and has experience in
a medical office. This professional will assume day-to-day floor
management responsibilities for our Medical and Cosmetic
Dermatology offices. Benefit Package: Our benefit package includes

company match, and more! JOB SUMMARY: The Office Manager is
responsible for the day-to-day supervision, direction, and
coordination of staff, as well as assisting with the administrative
operations of the clinic(s). Specific duties include, but are not
limited to, scheduling and supervising support staff, including
assigning and reviewing work, hiring, training, counseling on
performance, and conducting performance evaluations and
disciplinary actions. Incumbent is expected to be well trained for
the integration of enhanced information systems technology;
performs complex and routine administrative support duties under
minimal supervision. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support,
assure effective, high-quality operations for two physicians and
three other health professionals Supervise a staff of 6 Medical
Assistants, receptionists, and others. Interact with executive
staff for financial, operational, and other practice management.

adaptation to changing healthcare delivery services. Performs
specific duties including, but not limited to daily office
management of staffing and patient flow, phone traffic oversight,
patient registration processes, appointment scheduling controls,
charge entry audits, insurance authorization reviews, overseeing
PR, and website functionality Participation in billing audits,
daily charge processing, registration, customer service functions,
and scheduling efficiency of both patients and staff. Performs
administrative support functions, including and not limited to
tracking and preparing statistical data, reviewing supply orders,
receiving and responding to patient concerns, floor management
questions and procedures, composing/preparing written documents,
scheduling meetings/appointments, using standard office equipment,
sorting correspondence/invoices. Supervises issues related to
Information Technology (IT) for service areas/departments, serving
as primary coordinator, trainer, and/or system administrator (often
may be considered expert or superuser). Recommends and implements
workplace improvements to achieve greater productivity and
consistency. Exercises some latitude to consider appropriate
procedures and practices to achieve end results. May be required to
implement corrective actions (as needed and directed) to remain
within budgetary requirements and constraints. Assists in
developing and maintaining policies and procedures for operations,
taking a proactive role in ensuring that all operational policies
and procedures are documented and up-to-date, ensuring quality
control standards are maintained. Responsible to assist in
timekeeping processing for payroll in adherence to regulatory
requirements. Manages medical records and/or files requests
adhering to State and Federal regulations. Assists with special
projects, attends meetings as required, and maintains good
interdepartmental relations. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years
experience in a healthcare setting with 2 years of
supervision/management experience. Bachelors degree required and
work-related experience Previous experience in medical office
registration, scheduling, medical assisting, management and/or
billing Experience with electronic practice management and medical
records systems a must Strong quantitative skills; budgeting,
financial, and making management decisions by metrics.
