Part Time - Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper

Job Description:

We are currently hiring for an experienced Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to help support a Property Management / Private Equity Real Estate Investment Firm
in Redwood City. This is a high intensity, fast paced organization that offers generous perks, and significant opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate parties
- Organize and schedule appointments/events for Principles
- Plan and organize meetings and take detailed minutes
- Write and answer email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Update and maintain organizational policies and procedures
- Collect and reconcile company contractor expense reports
- Provide general support to visitors and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Daily /Weekly Data Entry
- Receive, verify, and process accounts payable
- Review, verity, and invoice and accounts receivable
- Receive payments, customer reconciliation
- Reconcile multiple account statements
- Manage cash flow
- Process paychecks,
- Production of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Consult regularly with internal and external accountant for tax planning
- Provide additional support as needed

Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Skills:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
- 3-5 years full charge bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Hours: 20-30 hours per week, flexible days and hours
