Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and has a strong background in individual and real estate taxation. You'll lead engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while contributing to strategic tax planning and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and review complex tax returns for High Net Worth individuals, partnerships, trusts, and real estate entities. - Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services tailored to client needs. - Lead client engagements and maintain strong relationships with clients and their advisors. - Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and senior associates. - Stay current on tax law changes and communicate implications to clients and team members. - Collaborate with partners on business development and firm growth initiatives. Qualifications: - CPA license required. - 5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on individual and real estate taxation. - Strong technical knowledge of federal and California tax laws. - Experience with complex partnership structures, 1031 exchanges, and passive activity rules. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office Suite.
