Currently seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist. This position will be under the supervision of the Controller and responsible for the following: Processes all vouchers for payment, reviews and process all expense reports, answers all vendors and purchasing inquiries, prepares accounts payable checks. Maintains all accounts payable files. ? Maintains accounts receivable and inter-company balances.

Other responsibilities include:

Monthly bank reconciliations

Prepares analysis / reconciliation of accounts, as required.

Perform month end close

Financial report preparation

Assists with general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, operating expenses, and insurance records. ? Other ad-hoc projects as necessary. Candidate will also be responsible for Processing payroll and performing semi-monthly payroll journal entries

Qualifications include:

Demonstrated experience using Quickbooks accounting software

Has good follow-thru and strong analytical and problem solving skills

Detail and deadline oriented with excellent organizational skills Comfortable working independently, with experience working in a team environment.

Educational and Experience Requirements: o High School Graduate with some college accounting courses o Previous related experience required o QuickBooks software experience a must o Proficiency with MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel o Typing and 10-key experience required o Attentive to detail and accuracy a must o Well organized and able to prioritize o Cooperative and willing to assist others If you are interested and qualified, please submit resume immediately for consideration.
