We -provide -tax, accounting, and business consultation services to closely held businesses, high net worth individuals and nonprofit organizations throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

We have Staff Accountant positions in San Francisco.

We generally require individuals at the Staff Accountant level to have a minimum of one year of experience in a public accounting firm. Staff Accountants are expected to possess strong accounting and analytical skills and will be involved in the preparation of entity and individual income tax returns as well as financial statement audit, review and compilation engagements.

We believe firmly in a multi-discipline approach to staff training -- both tax and accounting -- all of our professionals must be knowledgeable in both areas.

As a Staff Accountant, you will be expected to:

• 
  Become proficient in all aspects of preparing corporate, partnership, individual and fiduciary income tax returns, including learning Lacerte (tax processing software), Quickbooks, firm workpaper documentation standards, etc.
  
  • 
    Become proficient at all aspects of performing financial statement compilation and review engagements, including learning Caseware (trial balance software), firm workpaper documentation standards, etc.
    
    • 
      Progress to assume client contact responsibility for certain tax return engagements
      
      • 
        Progress to assume responsibility for financial statement compilation and review engagements and segments of audits under the supervision of more experienced staff members
        
        • 
          Learn firm policies and procedures
