Job Description:
JOB OVERVIEWThe AP Supervisor will be an integral member of
Corporate Finance department, oversees AP functions specifically,
and communicates with multiple teams and levels within the
organization and vendors to ensure all AP functions are carried out
efficiently.JOB LOCATION AND REPORTING TOThis position will be
based in our San Francisco office. We follow a hybrid work
structure where employees can work remotely or from the office, as
needed, based on demands of specific tasks (1 2 days / week from
the office, periodic meetings in the office and annual company
offsite). The AP Supervisor reports to the Manager, Accounting and
works closely with Corporate Finance department.KEY
RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise employees involved in AP functions (AP
Clerk and Coordinator)Support vendor on-boarding, including review
of their IRS Form W-9 for tax ID, new vendor form for banking
information, and annual 1099 filings and contact vendors to
verbally confirm their banking information (new and/or any
changes)Set up vendors in our accounting system (Sage Intacct)
including any changes / updates to existing vendorsResearch open AP
items as required, and provides clear and professional
communication internally and externally to employees (end-users of
our accounting system) and vendors regarding discrepancies,
policies, and proceduresReview purchase orders / invoices for
proper approval and documentation as part of procure-to-pay process
in our accounting system, ensure proper coding to appropriate GL
accounts and cost centers by analyzing documentation and
coordinating with Corporate Finance departmentOversee reports
regarding AP items such as aging report, and ensure correct
payments are made in a timely mannerPerform final review and
approval of expense reports for proper documentation (receipts,
etc.) and compliance to our travel and expense policy, ensure
proper coding to appropriate GL accounts and cost centers in
liaison with the Manager, Accounting and provide support for
reporting employee expenses in GL and reimbursementsProvide
short-term cash forecasts based on AP balances and payment terms as
requestedPerform other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSWe

or relevant fieldThorough understanding of AP functions with 5+
years of experienceExcellent supervisory and analytical skills, and
ability to motivate direct reports (AP Clerk and Coordinator)Keen
multi-tasking capabilities, flexibility, organizational skills,
attention to detail, ability to work under strict
deadlinesKnowledge of Sage Intacct is a plusStrong organizational
and communication skills, both oral and writtenProficient in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)Desire to
work in a growing company in the renewable energy fieldPHYSICAL
DEMANDSThis position is primarily sedentary in nature and requires
prolonged periods of sitting at a desk in front of a computer.
Although the Corporate Finance department believe in long term work
/ life balance, we also believe in short term imbalances. Long
working hours will be needed from time to time as dictated by
