Come develop excellence in sustainable solutions and be a part of new ways of thinking, new technology, and a new future!What You'll DoAs the Senior Accountant, you will manage the accounting activities of the organization. - This role is an essential part of the financial management team as they will be overseeing the organizational systems for gathering data, analyzing information, confirming accuracy, and providing recommendations. - The Senior Accountant will use their strong technical skills to accurately implement big-picture accounting strategies necessary to oversee day-to-day accounting and finance activities. - - -Essential Job Functions

Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations; ensures journal entries are accurate and timelyCompletes AR/AP reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the General LedgerPrepares and researches outstanding itemsPerforms vendor setup and maintenance, including research of related issuesResponsible for payroll journal entries and reconciliationManage and track vacation accruals and balancesIdentify and implement system improvements to develop sound accounting processesReview financial statements for accuracyPrepare documents for monthly/quarterly meetings with business units Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Excellent analytical skillsAbility to communicate effectively in writing Organized, detailed, and uses a reliable approach to duties Excellent judgement and possesses the ability to ask for help in critical applications Ability to identify complex problems and develop solutions Understanding of the implications of new information for both current and future problemsKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, banking, and the analysis of reporting of financial dataEducation and Experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting, or finance 5+ years accounting and/or bookkeeping experienceMust be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. -All Ambient Photonics employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19------------------------------------------ -Preferred Qualifications & Competencies - -

Previous experience with NetSuite and/or Sage50
