Capital and SV Angel. About the Position We are looking for an
Accounting Leadwho can play a dynamic role in managing aspects of
the operational accounting, technical accounting, financial
reporting, and treasury functions for our SMB fintech. The
Accounting Lead will be a critical enabler of the Company's growth,
driving efficiency across the Company's accounting processes which
will enable us to report accurate and complete financial data to
our stakeholders in a timely manner as we continue to scale. We're
not only responsible for maintaining accurate books and records for
financial reporting, but we're passionate about automation and
partner closely with the engineering team to implement
technological improvements.As the Accounting Lead, you will be
exposed to a variety of areas, including but not limited to our MCA
product, charge card, cash movements, account reconciliations,
development of technical accounting policies, designing financial
controls, optimizing our month-end close and financial reporting
processes, and more. As the Accounting Lead, you will work
cross-functionally within a detail-oriented environment where
creative problem-solving is highly valued. The Accounting Lead is
expected to manage multiple priorities concurrently without

small businesses? If so, come join us! What You'll Be Doing: Play a
key role in building out the company's accounting infrastructure
and foundational systemsPrepare technical accounting memos for
revenues, equity transactions, credit losses, consolidation and
other relevant topicsPartner with the Head of Accounting to develop
and document internal controls for the Company's core products and
systemsManage the reserves for loan losses related to the Company's
lending business and oversee the implementation and maintenance of
CECL accounting standardOversee and manage the day-to-day
accounting processes for Parafin and its subsidiaryWork with the
Company's internal product and engineering teams to understand any
potential changes in the product suite and their effect on the
accounting data and processesPartner with the Head of Accounting on
projects such as establishing processes to identify software
development costs eligible for capitalization, R+D studies, state
nexus studies and researching implications of doing business in new
jurisdictions.Identify and partner with engineering to design and
implement technological solutions for process automationDrive the
month end close with preparation and review of journal entries,
reconciliations and variance analyticsSupport external audit and
miscellaneous reporting requirements What We're Searching For:
Strong understanding of US GAAP - specifically as it relates to
lending and technology companiesExcellent communication skills and
the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical
partners.Ability to examine and verify financial documents,
reports, and transactions; research and analyze accounting
transactions; verify the accuracy of data; reconcile financial data
and accountsExperience implementing and using financial software
(e.g., Quickbooks, NetSuite)You care deeply about the quality and
correctness of your work.You take initiative and can own and drive
large projects independently.You have strong analytical skills and
are comfortable managing competing and shifting priorities.You are
excited about working on a small team and setting the foundations
for data science at Parafin.Excited by our mission and the

You Have: Experience working at a traditional or fintech lending
focused organizationExperience working in a high growth
organization on a scaling team3+ years of work experience -
preferably both Big 4 and private industry experience with a
lending backgroundFluency in (or desire to learn) data analysis
skills and tools, such as SQL / Python / Alteryx / Looker What We
