practice has a focus on Partnership and Corporation Taxation. The
ideal candidate will have significant experience in one or both, of
these disciplines. One of Crowe's differentiators is our people are

knowledge by tax entity type. A Senior Manager is a critical member
of the tax office team, providing thought leadership to the partner
group while actively developing and mentoring staff and managers.As
a Federal Tax Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver professional services to clients, including consulting,
tax planning, compliance, and research
- Develop high-level relationships with clients, prospects, and
referral sources, while performing detailed tasks on
engagements
- Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements as well
as serve as a business advisor to the client
- Research and consult on complex tax matters
- Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance
expertise to clients
- Perform research and prepare/review technical tax
memorandum
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment to assist clients with
implementing tax-efficient strategies across all operations
- Economically and efficiently manage projects including billing
and accounts receivable responsibilities
- Work directly with clients, partners, and tax engagement
teams
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting client
deadlines
- Deliver excellent client service and manage client
relationships
- Understand and manage firm risk on tax services performed
- Manage, develop, and mentor interns, staff, and managers on
projects and assess performance through formal periodic reviews and
informal feedback
- Work closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate
efficient standard operating procedures and practice development
skills using a team approach to client service.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation
or LLM is a plus
- Active CPA license required
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in tax from a public
accounting firm and/or corporate blend
- Proven leadership skills in managing client service teams and
multiple projects in a fast-paced and interactive team
environment
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a
proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client
relationships
- Strong knowledge of general tax principles, with a deeper
knowledge of the 300, 700, and 1500 sections of the Internal
Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations
- Advanced technical and tax accounting skills in the areas of:
Corporate, Partnership, and Individual Taxation with a consulting
mindset
- Effective writing, communication, and tax research skills.
- Hybrid schedule with a preference for California residents;

takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in
making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill
sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and
other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range
estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic
differential associated with the location at which the position may
be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be
hired at or near the top of the range for their role and
compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances
of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is
