The Games Publisher Sales team is based in San Francisco. Collectively, the team is responsible for sourcing, managing, and growing publisher/app developer relationships that scale our online advertising inventory. Our Video business (incorporated into Social games, MMO’s and Virtual Worlds) is part of an evolving industry and we are looking for talented, resourceful, resilient, and outgoing people to add to our committed Publisher Sales team.

The Video sales business has a strong technology infrastructure, consisting wholly of proprietary code developed for the following functions:

  • Non-Incentivized Video Inventory: CPM video inventory including targeted pre-roll, post-roll campaigns

  • Incentivized Video Inventory: CPA video inventory presented within our offerwall



POSITION OVERVIEW



The Business Development Executive sources and establishes new business for its expanding base of Video advertisers. In this role, you will assist game publishers in monetizing their business using both CPM and CPA-based advertising products that run on social & online games and applications. Primary duties include:



  • Identify, approach and close new customers for Games video advertising products

  • Manage a pipeline and accurately forecast. Prioritize to optimize revenue and minimize engineering requirements

  • Execute against a strategic business development plan

  • Prepare and present detailed business review to management on a weekly basis

  • Represent Adknowledge at conferences, tradeshows, and industry events to evangelize our solutions for customers and the market.




Additional responsibilities include:


  • Provide regular communication with Sales and other staff to augment efforts and share support

  • Travel up to 25% of the time

  • Keep up to date on any changes that could impact the Super Rewards video advertising business

  • Attend 1-2 industry events after normal work hours, per week

  • Ad-hoc creative thinking around how to close new business




CANDIDATE OVERVIEW



The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:



  • 2+ years experience business development experience, preferably in an online / internet / e-commerce environment

  • 2+ years of prospecting and account management skills

  • Previous experience with selling to online gaming companies and display advertising products




The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:



  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Confirmed and Proven Record of Closing Accounts

  • Passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple sales cycles at once

  • Consultative approach to customer acquisition and account relationship development
