Adknowledge, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager –Advertising to join the Account Management Games team. As an account manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire client relationship – driving value in accounts by assisting clients with campaign management, audience targeting, budget/spend optimization, bidding, analysis, and reporting. You will manage and develop the client relations through the full life-cycle of the account — on-boarding, initial ramp up, ongoing account management, monthly/quarterly business reviews, etc.

Adknowledge operates the largest ad network focused strictly on casual gaming for Facebook, MMOs, and mobile developers with annual revenue of over $60M.

The Games Publisher Sales team is based in San Francisco. Collectively, the team is responsible for the establishment and development of hundreds of publisher relations and maintaining and growing millions of dollars in monthly revenue. Casual gaming is an evolving industry and we are looking for talented, analytical, and outgoing people to add to our committed account management team.

POSITION OVERVIEW


The Games Account Manager is responsible for client retention, revenue growth, and business analysis for both our virtual currency and social display products. This individual should have highly developed communication skills, a core understanding of social networking and the online gaming environment, and be able to analyze business metrics. Responsibilities include:


  • Client Retention: The Account Manager will be actively managing Clients through continual relationship building, providing consultative services (i.e. offers/banner management), analyzing and reviewing game/application data as well as delivering general account management duties such as customer service support and platform Q&A
  • Revenue Growth: A key function of the Account Manager position is to grow revenues through value added services such as addition of traffic and distribution programs, virtual currency/economy evaluation, game mechanic balancing, and scoping monetization strategies. Key aspects include expanding the active product set, expansion of new applications within an existing relationship and cross promotion
  • Business Analysis: In order to ensure comprehensive account management, the AM is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity and potential threats to their assigned Client List. This is primarily done through data and reporting analysis. Managing these scenarios include allocating the proper SR resources to address any Client and Internal needs by working with the SR Business Development, Engineering, and Customer Service Teams


Additional responsibilities include:


  • Participate in trade shows, conventions, sales meetings, and SR sponsored events. This can be either in primary client-facing or in ancillary support roles. Travel expectations will be 10-20% of the time


CANDIDATE OVERVIEW


The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years proven track record in consulting, sales and/or account management at on online company, ideally working with publishers
  • Solid knowledge of and/or experience in online advertising pricing models and metrics
  • Extensive knowledge, interest and an active user of leading social networks and online games, virtual worlds, etc
