Job Description:

Will collect, organize, and automate the storage, reporting, and analysis

of automotive insurance metrics. Will evaluate and improve statistical and

compulsory data reporting systems and methodologies. Will test and ensure

the quality and availability of data in line with changing business needs

and goals. Will interpret and apply specifications from state and rating

bureaus. Will develop and implement systems and procedures for ensuring

data integrity and maintaining ongoing compliance with regulations

governing the automotive insurance industry. Leveraging knowledge of

Department of Motor Vehicles reporting requirements, will ensure timely and

accurate data analysis and compliance reporting. Will perform sophisticated

ad hoc analyses of loss and/or premium statistical data. Will create

complex business and functional requirements for data analysis and

reporting.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (three-year degree acceptable) or foreign educational

equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Commerce, Business

Administration, Accounting or related field plus three (3) years’

experience applying statistical analysis to create data reports to

structure data within a regulated industry.

Special Requirements:

1. Demonstrated expertise analyzing regulatory law and applying law to the

appropriate gathering of metrics and preparation of reports to ensure

compliance.

2. Demonstrated expertise leveraging SQL and Excel to extract and verify

data and conduct quality assurance.

3. Demonstrated expertise determining analysis parameters, processing data,

and analyzing data to interpret and predict design patterns.

4. Demonstrated expertise performing ad hoc analysis, analytical

processing, and querying data to create dashboards and data visualizations.
