Job Description:

Under the direction of Senior Manager, IT Development, will implement

projects and ensure project goals are met. Will work with stakeholders to

provide feedback and clarification on requirements. Will translate

business requirements into system designs and implementation tasks. Will

develop innovative and practical solutions to challenging requirements and

technical problems. Will create and document system designs using standard

software design patterns. Will implement key components of high importance

and/or complexity to the highest standards of quality, security and

maintainability. Will review and ensure all code produced by team conforms

to Esurance coding standards. Will coordinate with other teams to

facilitate the build, deployment, configuration and support of

applications. Will define the critical path for task execution on a

project. Will proactively provide advice and feedback throughout the

development lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality

problems. Will test and debug applications using both coded and manually

executed test cases. Will identify, log, and track defects/bugs/problems to

ensure they are resolved and that methods of resolution are captured for

future reference. Will contribute to improving the software development

life cycle. Will maintain technical expertise by learning about emerging

tools and technologies. Will evaluate new technology for use within the

department. Will serve as a technical resource in the resolution of complex

problems and issues. Will clearly communicate status and open issues to

team and manager.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical

Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years’ experience developing

interactive voice response (IVR) and call routing applications.

OR, in the alternative:

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical

Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years’ experience developing

interactive voice response (IVR) and call routing applications.

Special Requirements:

1. Demonstrated expertise capturing technical requirements, preparing

technical design documents, and developing IVR and call routing

applications.

2. Demonstrated expertise analyzing and designing Cisco UCCE products.

3. Demonstrated expertise in Cisco Intelligent Contact Management (ICM) and

Cisco Customer Voice Portal (CVP) scripting.

4. Demonstrated expertise analyzing and designing IVR, Computer Telephony

Interface (CTI) solutions and call routing.
