Job Description:
Will design, evaluate, and implement Social Media strategies and
programs to help build and promote the Esurance brand and effect online
engagement through collaboration with Marketing, Sponsorship, and Creative
teams, and outside vendors. Will develop a strong content strategy to
increase awareness and demand for the Esurance brand, as well as provide
related technical guidance to Social Media Communications Specialists.
Will work towards the successful implementation of social media goals
in collaboration with the Customer Service, Advertising and
Marketing teams, and develop content that authentically engages the community and
promotes Esurance’s brand messaging. Will develop a social media
framework to increase awareness and consideration of the Esurance brand and
support customer service, sales, sponsorships, and internal
communications. Will participate in internal stakeholder meetings and provide
guidance related to social programs, budget, and resources across Esurance’s
Social Media portfolio. Will leverage knowledge of the Social Media industry
to advise the Marketing team on marketing trends. Will prepare reports,
compile key findings, and note best practices and recommendations for
Esurance’s Social Media campaigns. Will monitor the editorial calendar for all
social networks. Will track marketing campaign progress with regular
reporting on Social Feature performance on Esurance.com, including engagement
and traffic growth. Will evaluate company use of Social Media
monitoring tools, produce action-oriented insights, and recommend areas for
improvement. Will liaise with other media companies, creative agencies, and
thought leaders to improve Esurance’s Social Media footprint. Will examine
competition’s use of Social Media to safeguard Esurance’s competitive
marketing plans and engagement tactics. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign education) in
Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related field plus
2 years of experience in a customer-facing communications position. Special Requirements: 1. Demonstrated expertise in digital communications, utilizing
social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, blogs, etc.),
including creative concepting, design, calendar, community and budget
administration and support. 2. Demonstrated expertise establishing Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) and measuring results using social listening and analytics tools
such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Facebook
Insights, Twitter Ads and Salesforce. 3. Demonstrated expertise collaborating laterally across teams
and departments to formulate and achieve campaign goals. 4. Demonstrated experience optimizing Customer Experience and
advocating for the Customer through delivering exceptional Customer
