Job Description:

Duties: Oversee and perform software quality assurance testing for front

end user interface, data integrity Aps and REST web services. Test end-to-

end client/server applications, including database interactions and

integration points between components. Perform white box, functional,

regression, integration and performance testing. Assess development

projects and determine which areas will benefit from automated testing.

Select automation tools and languages, direct test activities in a

Scrum/Agile environment. Participate in the software delivery process by

reviewing functional user stories. Develop and review test cases,

coordinate testing and interface with developers to resolve defects. Review

and troubleshoot production issues.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical

Engineering or related analytical field and three (3) years of experience

performing testing automation and quality assurance engineering; OR,

alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer

Science, Electrical Engineering or related analytical field and five (5)

years of experience as indicated above.

Special Requirements:

Also requires demonstrated expertise: performing automation framework

development and utilizing automation methodologies; DE creating quality

assurance processes and methodologies to test system security and

performance; DE performing quality assurance engineering in a database

environment including Postgre SQL, Oracle, SQL and DB2; DE developing test

scripts to analyze developed software code in multiple programming

languages; and DE interfacing with business and operations analysts as well

as software development teams throughout the end-to-end quality assurance

life-cycle.
