Job Description:
Neustar, Inc. seeks a Staff Software Engineer in San Francisco,
CA Duties: Provide reporting, trend analysis, and insights to
clients and partners using the Aggregate Knowledge (AK) platform and custom
data analysis. Work with team to design new Professional Service
products that can be applied for multiple customers and follow through to
scope and implementation of products. Run Professional Service products
for specific customers and work with the Customer Success team to analyze
results. Respond to internal and external requests for custom reporting
and insights, including custom analysis based on existing data as
well as defining large-scale custom data extractions. Evangelize
products and solutions with clients and work to ensure customers are
maximizing the value of the AK platform. Educate customers on the core AK
platform and Professional Service products and ensure customers are
maximizing product capabilities. Education and Experience: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics and two (2) years of experience in
software development and big data analysis OR, alternatively, a
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Mathematics and five (5) years of experience as indicated
above. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise: performing big data analysis and
engineering using Omniture, WebTrends and Google Analytics; DE implementing
product upgrades, testing and automation; DE performing data analysis using custom
data extraction tools and Hadoop within the Amazon Web Services
(AWS) environment; DE performing software development using
programming languages including Java, Python, PERL, VBScript and Ruby; and
DE interfacing with clients to analyze date needs and customer
